I find all hotels in Kuta noisy, when staying at KTH we stay in a studio and closing the bathroom door helps, but also passing out drunk really helps to sleep through the motorbikes.
Never had noisy kids there but one night noisy adults in the pool at midnight but surely that happens in every hotel. I think in my younger days I was probably in a pool making noise somewhere.
I find it is hard to get a good night sleep anywhere in Bali, it took us many years to find a quiet place to live, it is hard to get away from motorbikes and those bloody roosters. We have moved out of a house after 3 months because of roosters.
Kuta will always be the loudest area to stay in so maybe try another area or more alcohol before bed.
