GG is older and more Balinese
Febri's is newer & more bare/sparce/modern
Both places have the same menu/room service/ breakfast, same facilities in the rooms, roughly the same size rooms (Febri's are slightly larger), similar sized pools and both have very nice, helpful staff. GG's pool is more shaded, but less windy. There's no real garden/lawn as such in either, but trees/plants around both hotels. Personally, we choose Febri's as we like the newer rooms/pool/restaurant - though the GG's rooms have been renovated. The family rooms at Febri's have very comfy beds (can't comment on GG's beds as we've only looked over the rooms a couple of times, but not stayed there) & are just huge & both hotels have full sized fridges in the family rooms.
