But basically, you climb in the bemo, you don't discuss the price with the driver, just tell him where you want to go, and then give him Rp5,000 or Rp10,000 when you climb out. In the early days, I negotiated a price to go from outside the Griya Santrian to the pharmacy up near McDonalds. It cost me Rp30,000. That driver had a good day! We know better now (lol).
