air asia seat pitch (same point from one seat to the seat behind) is 29". Garuda 33". Virgin 31-33". Qantas 31". Tiger 29". Air Asia A320's have 33 rows of seats 3 each side. I am hoping the emergency exit seats allow a little more legroom as it cost me $10 each way to reserve them. I flew Air Asia X Perth to KL on an A330 in XL class which was great and KL to Phuket on an A320 in the regular seats same as indonesia air asia. There is just enough legroom if your 6 ft tall, ie your knees brush the seat in front. When this happens, you think 'thank god these seats don't recline much'.
