Last year we got messed about on a Qantas flight that was a day late coming back from DPS.
No problems, and Qantas were good enough to give me a $400 voucher (travel and accom. only) to compensate for the 4 seats that I had paid for.
As the time was expiring for the validity of the voucher, I have spent the entire voucher plus a bit, to have 2 nights accomodation for two of us at a hotel in Perth (Couldn't use on Bali flight as Qantas dropped the route to Jetstar).
Incidentally.....we live in Perth!!
For that $400, we could have both probably got to Bali and back on some new fare deals.
When we get to this palace....sorry hotel, I hope a beer cost the same as a Bir Bintang Besar, but I am not holding my breath.
