I stayed at Tony's admittedly about three years ago as I had moved to Bali for a couple of years and was waiting for my accommodation in Kuta to become vacant.
I had a lovely villa, beautiful bathroom, pool etc..friendly staff and at that time did not notice it being "gay friendly," or otherwise, maybe because I see people as people and not worry about their sexual orientation and as long as I am left my personal privacy, certainly dont worry about others. I understand what Jamz is saying though, if you want to meet people around pool etc,and make friends and go out, you may rather be with like minded people.
Anyway I had a good experience there, lots of restaurants around and warungs. Can walk to beach if fit. I just prefer to be closer to Kuta .
