I have done the afternoon class and it was great. The prices have really gone up. I booked through TA last year but see now that the price has risen to AUD80. I did the class with a friend, she was staying in Sanur and I was in Tuban. Transport to and from is included in the cost. I think I was picked up around 3.30pm and class started around 4.30pm. We were the only ones so it was great as we got to do a bit of everything. The intstructor was great and explained all the spoices. You get a booklet with the spices info and the recopes for what you are cooking. The website will give you an idea of what dishes are cooked on what days. We also learnt how to make hibiscus tea, which was what we were drinking. We ground the spices, threaded the satays, nadethe fish parcels out of banana leaves, stirred the curry and helped with the sweets. We were presented with a certificate and got home around 10.30pm. We had a ball as I am sure you will. I am hoping to do another class next trip. Cheers, Stormy
