we arrived home last wednesday after 4 weeks in bali , we are now both suffering from the bali blues : ( and are now both back at work savimg and dreaming of our next trip back ! this trip was to celerbrate our good friends 40th birthday, hubby&i flew out first and stayed at the ida hotel in kuta for 5nights and the went up to candi das for 5nights nice place if you like the slower and quiter pace of bali then large group of us stayed at the bali garden hotel for 9nights , what can i say about this hotel ..... it was great! the rooms are clean and large our room was 133 and it had a slight make over ,newer tiles and furniture our friends had room 380and379 which had the best view out to the pools and then to sea but the room was alittle tide looking . The pools at this hotel are great and the loction of the hotel is central to everything, having balivirgins with us was the main reason we chose this hotel so it was in walking distance to kuta markets and shops , we would stay again at the bali garden .... we meet afew people from the forum over the 4weeks and spent time with maureen ( budgiekids) and her family ( hi guys miss you) the large group left and my hubby and i moved on to puri raja hotel in legain for 11 nights we met up with more friends who stayed for 7 nights ,the weather was great the whole 4weeks we where in bali ,we really didnt do much just relaxed and enjoyed our selves ate mainly at the big bite food court which is near poppies lane on the beach rd sooooo cheap and the food is so yummy also went to echo beach and ate at the beach house great food and the out look to the ocean is so beautiful ..... fiona (ona) &billy (balibilly)
