Jilbab in Indonesia ss not as depicted in the attached article.
Indonesians refer to a head scarf as a jilbab. There are various styles - some kind of like a long nurses cap, but covering the hair completely, some have a little peak at the front (which is great for shading the face), and some are just made up from a nice scarf tucked around the head.
The hair and neck are covered, and the length is to the shoulders.
This type of covering is worn like our grandmothers used to wear hats - i.e. when going out to town, to a government office, etc. In Indonesia women usually wear normal but modest clothes, not a gown as in the photo. Various other clothes are worn when going to a mosque, depending on the event. Highly favoured is a tabbard and pants style with a loose head scarf (with hair showing) for social type gatherings (the mosque is often the 'community centre' of a village), and something more like in the photo, except white, for praying (which they change out of as soon as prayers are complete).
I note that the wiki article is disputed for accuracy and I can see why.
