Well. maybe a long time ago someone did make a bracelet from a coin but now you are being conned once again by the clever Balinese.
The bracelets are brass thats why they polish up nice but give you green rings. Coins have high nickel content which is also in stainless steel so they are strong and dont corrode easily.
If you keep your eye out in the departure area at the airport you will see all those collected coins in the hands of the cleaners and other airport staff selling them back to you in exchange for your left over Rupiah. Last trip I Changed Rupiah for $100.00 in coins 15 minutes before boarding to come home, I had lunch money for the next 2 months and didn't have to convert rupiah back to Oz dollars at home.
Sorry if you had your heart set on a coin bracelet, but this is the truth, I have never seen a green $2 coin and if it did have gold in it it would be worth more than $2 in scrap value. Good con, get 2 coins ( 32 000 RPH ) then charge (50 000 )to make it, you just paid $9 Au for a brass bracelet.
