That's fantastic news. Thanks! We didn't have a credit card but signed up for the Westpac Earth Platinum as it was offering 20,000 bonus frequent flyer points plus 3 points for every dollar you spent for a few months so we put all our flights and accommodation on the card and once the bonus period was over, we paid the balance and went back to our cash only ways. We now have enough points to take our family of 5 on another holiday.
....and now with the info from your post, it just gets better. I just read my policy booklet and I too have travel insurance included as we paid for the holiday on the card. Bonus! Thanks very much. The money saved can now go towards the $700 we have to pay for 5 new passports!!
