They were supplied a confirmation number. One for the entire booking, one for the flight and one for the hotel.
I logged on but only options were, change flight details, choose a seat and resend flight details. Baggage and Flight Meal options were unavailable. With my flight only booking I can still change my baggage.
I ended up calling and spoke to Air Asia, when the call centre operator really struggled with the flight number, I kindly asked to be transferred to another operator.
He was great, brought up the flight details and added the $2 fee for 15kg baggage and charged the credit card. All done in 2 minutes and will be sending email confirmation.
I guess just all depends on who answers your phone call.
Mum and sister are just happy it's all sorted and to be paying $2 for 15kg each way, rather than the $120 fee if they turned up at the airport. Wouldn't have been a good start to the holiday!
