I can only comment on Perth airport but I would imagine all airports operate the same way. You can purchase either before immigration of after at airside. If you purchase before then you collect it airside and can then be taken on the plane. it is the same for bottles of water bought airside. You can also prepurchase for collection on arrrival back in Australia. I do this as there seems to be more variety. Cheers, Stormy
