We were flying out today as well but have been transferred to the Virgin flight tomorrow evening. We were also going to come back on Wednesday (have changed this to come back on Sunday instead - what the hell another 4 days of relaxation - tuff ask!)

The issue with Indo Jet is that they are not a "true airline" as they don't own any aircraft they charter them from other companies (up till recently OZ Jet). OZ Jet have let them, and the paying passengers, down badly. Last week Indo Jet negotiated with another aircraft charter company Alliance to use their aircraft (F100 jets - the same that Skywest use). This was Ok'd by CASA who allowed the first two flights to proceed, only tell Indo Jet and Alliance on Friday that due to "Red tape" this was being revoked till some additional paperwork was signed. Again leaving Indo Jet and people like myself in the lurch at the last moment. I understand this "paperwork" will be signed on Tuesday (Monday public holiday)and the world will be back to normal for next Wednesday and beyond.

I run a business myself and understand completely the dilemma Indo Jet are in. They are reliant on a third party (ie OZ Jet) to move their core product (passengers). If the third party fails to produce the goods (ie aircraft) then you're stuffed.

Sorry it's a bit long winded. I know people are pi**ed because they've lost a day, but everyone knows all the other carriers have had delays, cancellations etc and I've suffered at their hands as well. But you get over it pretty quickly once you're in paradise.
