I have stayed at the Inna before and yes it is very central to Kuta square and the art markets. The room I stayed in was pretty outdated and old. The pool area is nice and over looks the beach. The breakfast was pretty ordinary but had all the basics. I now stay at the Ramayana Hotel which is near Inna Kuta and the rooms are much nice as the hotel in general it is still very central and has shops and nice restaurants right out the front of the hotel. I didn't notice any nice re: rooms I was staying on the bottom floor across from the tennis courts. You wouldn't want to stay up as there are lots of stairs that woudl be a pain for you.
