We are not really fans of Seminyak. Having been to Bali many, many times and having stayed in Nusa Dua, Sanur, Kuta, Tuban, Ubud and Legian, this year, for the first time we stayed in Seminyak. Had previously visited, but only for a restaurant or particular reason. It was fine, but there is far more happening towards Legian. Far more that you can walk to and far more that you can afford. We had a great villa (Villa 8 - highly recommend), but only for a short stay. Would much prefer Legian area or even Tuban, particularly now that the beach has been re-built. We also like the atmosphere at Sanur far more. It really depends, a lot of people prefer Seminyak.
