aircraft to Air Paradise - ever!! Singapore Airlines Maintenance was servicing the two A-310's for Air Paradise and SQ Management had to "caution" API about inferring in advertising that there was an actual connection with Singapore Airlines.

It is an historical fact that the two A-310's flown by Air Paradise were originally from the SQ Fleet but by the time Air Paradise got to fly them, some 20 Years had passed since SQ had sold them. Both aircract had a succession of numbers - at least 5 each I believe (did check the history of ownership at the time but memory is sketchy now) - between Singapore Airlines and Air Paradise. The A-310 was/is hugely inefficient and costly to operate - rather like the B-737/200's which were used by the now "defunct" OzJet (although the OzJet aircraft were probably even older).

Also the biggest dis-incentive to any potential "investor" (assuming that by some strange quirk of fate there may be one) would be "Pak Kadek lurking in the background"!!!!

Following "Bomb 2" when loadings started to drop, Air Paradise tried to off-load at least one of its A-310's but there was nobody prepared to take on-board a 23+ year-old "bucket of bolts" when there were so many modern and fuel-efficient aircraft available in the market-place for leasing.
