Kuta Townhouses or Kuta Royal Villas

Hi, off to Bali for a month in August. Am new to this forum and doing lots of reading! Thanks for the info. Can anyone tell me if their preference is Kuta Townhouses or Kuta Royal Villa Complex. What are the pro's & con's of each. We are a family with 2 kids 13 & 10. Really appreciate your feedback and also cheap eats in Tuban and Legian areas, we love warungs too!. Last trip was 2004 so advise is appreciated.
