I think it doesnt hurt to wear something decent to the airport (jeans and t-shirt), also take something warm for the return trip to Australia! Temples, most you will need to wear a sarong around whatever you are wearing anyway, but it is an idea to dress appropriately and wear something that is not showing too much flesh. Restaurants - depending on where you eat - you can glam it up if you wanted to in some of the finer restaurants. The most I have dressed up is with a nice summer dress or a pair of black capri pants with a t-shirt. All places accept whatever you are wearing, although I dare say in Seminyak there may be an issue with thongs. Have fun. Bali is relaxed so dont worry too much about dress codes.
