My driver took me to a house in Sanur and a beautiful older man came out and very gently massaged my wrist which was black to my fingertips but I could still move my fingers so it wasnt smashed across if you know what I mean. It turned out to be broken up the ulna, not across. He strapped it and sent a boy off for anti inflammatories, a brand i knew from Aus. I went back two days later, more of the same ,and had another very professional bandage job done on it. He spoke some English and between that and my Bahasa we were able to communicate. It cost the price of an offering which was virtually nothing. later in Aus I had it x rayed and was told that I would have got the same treatment from a mainstream doctor so I think I was treated well. The big plus was the gentle healing energy from this man and before you think I am reckless and flaky I have some health qualifications myself so i was very happy with his treatment. No need to be plastered, although I did self medicate a little with arak before they sent me back to the hotel...
