We purchased a $99 deal for Seminyak Suites on Ebay and stayed there for a week last November.

The Company also own a timeshare in Candi Dasa, but we wanted to stay in Seminyak.

We were made welcome on arrival and had to fill in a form agreeing to attend a 'presentation' at some stage of our stay. We asked on a number of occasions during the week when the presentation would be as we wanted to plan our week around it, but never seemed to get a firm answer. The presentation finally, was with the English owner and his very friendly dog on the 2nd to last day of our stay. I must admit that although the staff were friendly the "Timeshare sellers" who marched up and down looking very official all week, were a little off putting. We had a bike and it is a short ride to Dyana Pura and is just around the corner from La Lucciola, so it was a good position for us. Our room was a standard type hotel room and bathroom with TV. Nicely decorated with little outside area with table and chairs opposite the nice pool area. Enjoyed the peace and quiet around the pool...no fight for chairs! It was fairly quiet when we stayed, maybe 4 or 5 other rooms occupied. Only had one lunch and one breakfast in the restaurant. Only OK...much better places to eat elsewhere.

The presentation was informal in their little restaurant area with just us and the owner. We had already decided we were not going to purchase, and after a 2 hr 'chat', we advised that it was not really for us. They are really trying to get you to purchase the Candi Dasa timeshare. Even though we thanked him and said no thanks, we were approached twice more by the owner before we left with 'even better offers' that we couldn't possibly pass up! Well, we did pass it up. So if you are strong enough to say no, then this is definitely a good place to stay for a week for only $99. However, if it is what you are looking for....go for it.
Oh...and even though they have a Wifi internet connection...when I went to the restaurant and asked for the password so I could use my laptop in the room...I was told the password was not for guests, only staff! Not really impressed with that.
