Working at Tullamarine, Melbourne International Airport, besides bags full (and many kilos) of chocolate and noughart, Asians and Indians generally take out just about anything. Including fruit, vegetables, smelly fish and all sorts of oozing stuff in boxes.
Australian Airlines, Customs and Security don't really care what crap, rotting, smelly food is going OUT of Australia to overseas Indian and Asian countries.
Thankfully, Australian Customs are just especially vigilant that none of the same crap food stuff and rubbish comes back into our country. Thank Goodness for that! Take whatever food you want to go out, just don't bring ANY of the foreign stuff back in.
Not being nasty or horrible, just accurate and honest!
