To get an aged pension once you do turn 65 you need to satisfy the residency requirement, which is that you must have been living in Australia as a PERMANENT resident for the 10 years prior to your application.
If you have been living in Australia for 10 years, you can then get your pension and THEN move to Bali.
For those living in Bali already, don't count on getting a pension later. You most likely do not qualify.
I had a relative who lived overseas doing volunteer work in poor countries for many years, and then returned to Australia when she got too old to do it. She had all sorts of problems because she did not qualify for the aged pension as she did not satisfy the residency requirement, and was destitute as she had no money.
