We have been on the dinner cruise twice now, the last being July 2008. Prior to boarding you have a photo taken with Balinese girls in traditional costume. We (around 15 of us - aged between 13 an 70) went for our friends 70th birthday. We took on board party hats, poppers and those blower thingys. Had a great time. Got our seats when boarded which were reserved whilst we went up on deck and sipped on drinks as we cruised around Benoa Harbour, then back downstairs for a dinner and watched the caberat show.
When the show is over you can dance on the dance floor but we all went upstairs to the back of the boat and listened to the live band. Ended up all joining in on a song at the end of the trip. I think we were the first to board and the last to leave. Our "tour" included free transport pick up and return to our hotel. I am sorry, I can't remember exactly what we paid, but I just booked it through my "usual" guy a couple of doors up from where we stay in Masa Inn. We really had a great time (both times) and this year we are going to go on the Bali Hai day trip.
If you end up deciding to go, hope you have a great time!.
Cheers Jenny
