The Kumala Pantai is the actual Resort as far as I know and understand, although it is sometimes referred to as the Kumala Hotel (especially on tripadvisor.com - very good, so too is expedia.com) The actual Kumala Hotel is next door, smaller, and not up to the same standard as the Kumala Panatai Resort. Many very good reveiws refer to the Kumala Hotel, but actual mean the Kumala Pantai Resort. Research them both, and you will know which is which. Good Luck.
