I dont think it matters if its done in Oz or Bali for the time. What will take the most time will be getting all the paperwork and evidence together!!! I hope they already have started or it will seem so overwhelming it mite put a damper on the wedding!! it really seems impossible at times :(
My husband applied in Bali and took 7 weeks... that was for a fiance visa. We have now applied for a spouse here in Oz and it has been a month and still heard nothing. So i think it just depends on how busy they are...
I was told by immigration here in Oz that if you get married on tourist visa you can apply for a bridging visa and put in for a spouse visa so she wouldnt have to go home. Now i dont know if its true, you know how immigration can give you 10 answers for the same question, but mite be worth looking into?? Nothing worse than them having to live apart while they wait for the visa...
