We're hoping to travel to Bali later this year & then come home via Jakarta. We're big shoppers, and there's lots we want to buy, but our luggage allowance is lower between DPS & CGK, so we're hoping to leave some of our shopping until we get to Jakarta. Could those in the know please advise me of what we should be buying in Bali(ie things we won't find in Jakarta & what we should leave till Jakarta, please?
I think we can safely buy the following in Jakarta:
*Revlon makeup
*dvd's
*Martha Tilaar products
*Autan repel products
*cheap presecription glasses
*large sized sports shoes
But do you know if we can get the following, please?:
*inexpensive home decor items such as those at Unagi or Geneva
*copy Billabong/Quicksilver t-shirts/shorts, etc
*garam laut
*rolls of ribbon (like at Toko & the shop next door)
*covers made for some director's chairs
*inexpensive tailor made clothes
Any suggestions at all as to where we can get the above in Jakarta would be much appreciated. Cheers, Sue.
