We had a tattoos done on our last day, so as to keep them safe from the pool water, salt water, and sun.... Surprising how many people still go swimming with new tattoos.

Anyhow.... Hubby went to KA'S Surf Art & Tattoo Life, next door to Jennys shop, opp the Dynasty.
Hubby already had a dragon tatt, that was done about 25yrs ago, and wanted it recloloured, a barong mask and shading done. Dho Dho first quoted us $350.00, and we eventually agreed on $200AU, which we were happy about!
Took 3hours, new needles, he actually shows you them before opening from packet. He also took photos and are on their website too.
Tattoo was wrapped in clingwrap, and were told not to remove till next day. Hubby happy with the colours etc. good job! Great barong mask.
Myself and son (T) went to Bali Ink. we also got our price down to $170AU total. T had searched too for a image that he liked, he decided on Jack Skellington from Nightmare before Christmas movie. So took along our own picture and it was resized to suit. T coped really well, considering its its first tattoo, no whinging from him!! Tattoo was done by Agung, who was friendly and easy to get along with. Took about 35mins. T also wrapped in clingwrap for the trip home.
I had design my tattoo myself and took along several pictures of it. I had a small butterfly which i wanted covered up, and the result was great. Pictures at about address....
Froggy did my tattoo, not much of a talker!! After he started i had to ask his name, wanted to make sure it was him lol. Did a great job, i whinged, gee dont remember it hurting that much before!! Must be getting old! Took about 45mins, wrapped in clingwrap. Whew glad that was done!! Really happy with result, colours are great, i asked for the brightest colours, as i tan and didnt want it to be too dark. The picture i took, colours were more red, but Froggy suggested puples/pinks. Butterfly all gone, and really happy.
Shop was really clean, air con,new needles used, was also shown before opening the packets. tv to keep you entertained as well.
Would really reccommend Bali Ink, easy to talk with, can bargin on price, not pushy, the older guy that did all the copys of the pictures for the tattoo guys, was really nice too. Froggy seemed to be really serious, which is great, while doing my tattoo. Even putting up with my occassional whinging!! Then he was more than happy to pose for photos!
