I have seen occasional requests for information about golfing at the new course near Dreamland. I was just there yesterday:
Let me state here, We all know golf is too expensive in Bali so no need for sarcastic remarks clogging up this thread. This is being posted for information purposes for those who want to know.
1. The course is called "New Kuta Golf". Get to it via the entrance to Pecatu Indah Resort, which is the same way you would go to Dreamland Beach.
2. The course is in very good condition having recently hosted a big international tournament.
3. The course is interesting and challenging, with the championship tees set at 6800 meters. There are a total of 5 sets of tees so something is available depending on your length of hitting.
4. The prices effective now are increasing on April 1. US$.
Now:
Tourist rate on weekend: $145 ($95 if guest of member)
Tourist rate on weekday: $128 ($73 if guest of member)
On April 1:
Tourist rate on Weekend: $170 (guest of member not yet published
Tourist rate on weekday: $160 but should be 30-40% discount)
Rates include Green Fees, Cart, Caddy.
Caddy Tips (my opinion) should range from
rp 50,000 for average
rp 75,000 for good
rp 100,000 for excellent
