Hi we just got back from The Jayakarta last week, this is nice but don expect too much with the rooms as the first 2 days i absolutley hated it and just wanted out! i complained about our first 2 rooms then finally we were moved to a 3rd room.. The location is great and all the resturants along the esplanade are very close and really good. I personally wouldnt stay there again and found the best thing was the loaction.. The staff were nice but not as friendly as other places we all thought it was a little understaffed for the amount of rooms they have there it its huge! but for the price and if your willing to ignore the bathrooms which i found the worst then it would be fine for you.. 4 of us also didnt like the breakfast but thats just us. Its probably like any cheap standard motel you would find in Australia its just the bathrooms didnt feel as clean as they could have been.. another thing that put me off it was too hot to swim in the day as there is no shade over the pools which put me off so we didnt really get to swim that often this is just my opinion.. i have checked out an ebay auction and there is a pic of Jayakarta private apartment which has pics on there which doesnt look to bad but i do know when i complained about our room the manager mentioned the apartments to me and then she said oh no i wouldnt put you down the back there its too dark so im not sure where that was and if you are down the back its quite a way from the pools..

they do have interconnecting rooms also which we had mostly with our rooms changes.. we ended up in the 300 block which was near the 2nd pool and it wasnt too bad they were slightly bigger than our pool view rooms which we paid extra for before we left but they were way too small..

you could try 4 nights there and find somewhere else for the rest of your stay.
