if you have ever had to spend any time at a hospital in indonesia and/or had some one take sick on you in the middle of the night you will appreciate a reasonable first aid kit!
If you are planning to travel out of one of the centres then there may not be an apotik!
Yes the apotiks have the stuff she has packed but at 3.00am they are not open . If the situation worsens and you end up at a hospital you will wish you had had the basics.
As well as what you have listed I take eyewash, curash powder (wonderful stuff!), something for insect bites, ventolin and canestan for any fungal treatment required and the old standby vicks vapour rub.
Vicks not only clears the head and nose when needed but as I generally spend time travelling overland into Java by bus, I have discovered that sticking a bit up your nose means you can avoid the smell of the toilet on the bus (which gets pretty awful after 20 hours let me tell you!!)
