Thank you to all for your comments, even if some of you were making fun of me!!!
Although I am sure a lot of my first aid kit is available in Bali and most probably cheaper too, I believe I have much better things to do in Bali than go browsing the chemist shop! I really have no interest in trying to rush out and buy whatever I need if one of the kids do happen to get sick.
So you can laugh at me and shake your heads but I will take my kit (along with my travel insurance of course) and will be happily prepared if myself or my hubby or one of the kids or one of my other family members traveling with us (including some elderly and some very young members) happens to get sick or injured.
And as things usually happen... because I am prepared (some may say overprepared!) then it is unlikely I will need anything at all. But if I wasn't prepared then you can bet I would be kicking myself at 3am when one of the kids trips over in the dark, bashes their head on the side of the toilet bowl whilst trying desperately to get there because of the dreaded Bali Belly. I will be VERY glad I have my dressings and Betadine and Immodium and Gastrolyte then!
Thank you all! I have appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed your replies. Gave me a lot of chuckles! If you all actually knew me you would realise that I am very laid back and usually fly by the seat of my pants! Everyone is allowed one weakness and I guess mine is my first aid kit! I love it!
