I am a middle age woman and travelled alone. This was my first stay in Adhi Darma hotel and I hope to go back again. Its a very pretty little hotel. Three stories high round a pool and lovley garden with a little stream running though it with gold fish in it.
The ramps to the third floor are quite steep (tell your self its good excersise) but well worth it for the views. On one side you over look a village and the mountain in the distance. On the other side all balconys over look the pool.
The rooms are a good size with TV, fridge and air con. beds and pillows very comfy.
The Adhi Darma cottage are not cottages at all, it is three story also. Personally I prefer the hotel.
Food:- Buffet breakfast at the hotel was very nice, four hot dishes changed every day plus fruit, cereal etc.
Dinner at Warang Brazil was very cheep, tuna salad, banana split (YUM) and an arrak attack for Rp30,000 cant be bad
Another place I ate at was Balistic where they have a band everynight starting at the decent time of 7pm.
One outing worth a mention was to the Cavern Bar (yes, as in Beatles) in Sanur. It is a Beatles museum also a bar, restraunt. They have one of Paul McCartney's guitars, signed and one of their gold records plus heaps of photos news paper clipping. On stage are live size statues of the Beatles where you can have your photo taken.
