Thanks for the suggestion.
I did umm and aah about the 5 nights in Ubud, also thinking that the kids might get bored. But in addition to my sister's wedding in Canngu in our first week, I have organised a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband for the second week. He doesn't know it but his side of the family and some old friends are coming to Bali to surprise him! So the kids will be entertained by their other grandparents and uncle and aunt too! We do plan to head out of Ubud for a day or two if the kids get restless.
