It's been about 3 yrs since i was there, but last time in Legian I really enjoyed Drops which is just up the road from the Padma. Not one of the cheaper places, but the food was really nice and reasonable compared to prices at home. There is also a great Thai restaurant not far from the Jayakarta I think it was called Sawasdeeka and is in Rum Jungle Road. From memory it was pretty good value and great food. We used Ketut Teker as our driver and he was fantastic. He is usually parked at the Padma but his phone number was 081 2391 6364
