It's just a sterling silver bracelet with beads that fit onto it. They gave it a name and used that as an excuse to charge ridiculous prices for them. I used to do a lot of jewellery making and that sort of bead has been around for a long time. I used to easily buy them for a few dollars each, but now they're called "pandora" they're 10 times that each.
When we were kids it was charm bracelets - I guess this is the new version of the charm bracelet, but much more expensive to build.
