I think that most rice growers in Bali get 3 crops per year (unlike Australia where they get 2 crops) so its hard to guess what stage the crops will be in front of Tegal Sari. Only way to find out for sure is to ask them , or a guest who has stayed there recently.
We will be there in 2 weeks time.
The crops out front all seem to be at a very similar stage of growth, each time we have stayed there.
I have stayed there for most stages of the rice growing process, and just to be at Tegal Sari means the view is superb.
Long tall plants, lush green or walling from weight, stripping, planting, ducks on freshly stripped paddies, all good to me.
