Never been in a taxi with seatbelts in the back seat either.

A pre-arranged private vehicle might be your only option. You would have to see if they have access to a baby seat when you make the inquiry.

April last year I had pre-arranged transport from the airport to Legian and it cost RP100,000.

The "representative" i.e. not the person I thought it would be, turned up in a really clapped out van. The rear door wouldn't open so all the luggage had to be passed through the back seats. Not a good first impression for business - needless to say we didn't book any day trips with that company.

I recall some posters on here mentioning the drivers who do have baby seats so hopefully they might respond. Alternatively maybe try to do a search on here for "baby seat".
