Hi Chinchc
There are some good places to eat in Candi.
My first would be Vincents, you'll find plenty of reports on them, try balieats.com, also the Watergarden is good. The Lotus's, both the Seaview in the main street and Lotus Bungalows (good Italian) were both nice, the Seaview probably better for lunch (good view)
Seasalt in Alila Manggis was very impressive, particularly the Balinese Megibung, a tasting plate of 8 different dishes, about AU$30 if I remember was great.
We are staying at Rama Candidasa in June and their Garpu restaurant looks good.
As for what to do, a trip on one of the boats to Blue Lagoon is supposed to be good. The Bali Aga village, a few kms north is quiet, but interesting, also the White Sands beach about 5 kms east is a nice spot to see, a bike would be good to get down the "road" to the beach.
You could also visit the Klungkung Markets either on the way, or while you are there, it is huge and quite a sight (and smell)
You could organize rafting on the Telaga Waja from Candi , or a day trip to Tirtagangga via Amlapura and returning via Rendang, which is a scenic drive.
Hope this has been of help.
Cheers
Rodger
