Good position on the beach with plenty on the street. GREAT pool, nice bit of beach. Central gardens are beautiful. Room was good. Breakfast was excellent.
If you appreciate Indonesian food I HIGHLY recommend the Kunyit restaurant (street front of the Hotel Santika). It had THE MOST delicious Rijstaffel. They do a Balinese and an Indonesian one. Hubby and I were so impressed - its on our hit list for June, even though we are staying up in Legian.
I can also vouch for a driver(Made) and his tour guide wife(Connie). Her English is excellent, she has a keen sense of humour and WILL look after you - down to free COLD water. She also acts as an agent for any other bookings you may want to make eg Safari Park.
