generally quoted in US dollars. Singapore airlines are the same when booking flights ex-DPS. I don't think there is anything sneaky about it. The price on the website says US Dollars. If people dont look carefully at what they are booking then how is that sneaky on the part of the airline.
I agree that people should be 100% aware, but that surely is the responsibility of each individual. If people aren't sure about something on a website then phone the airline for clarification before commiting to a financial transaction.
