Our favourite place to snorkel is Jemeluk Bay - usually clear, but no good after heavy rain, but nowhere really is. I dont really go much on the Japanese shipwreck, always seem to get bitten by lice, but it is worth a look. Water off Deep Blue is also lovely, swim along the coast.
Eating - Sails is beautiful, Waenis is also nice enough, although they rely somewhat on their sunset view. There is a new warung (Mangga) at the bottom of the hill from Waenis, worth a stop, good simple food.
Anda Amed serves good food. Sama Sama on the beach at Jemeluk is also tasty for cheap and fresh food - she does a great job. There is a shower here you can use after snorkelling.
