you've probably picked a nice spot in Sanur.
Haven't actually stayed at the Bali Hyatt but have walked through...looked really nice.
They've actually got a really nice Chinese restaurant on the other side of the road (Jalan Tamblingan) called the Telaga Naga and from my experience,most kids like Chinese so I'd definitely give that a go one night.
Mezzanine at the entrance to Puri Santrian does very nice Thai food.
Do what I do...just walk along the main drag peering into restaurants and checking out their menus displayed out front and if it looks OK,then just take a chance and go in.
But remember,if they're empty,there maybe a reason...and if they're busy,probably means they're busy for a reason also...if you know what I mean.
