H Kath,

I posted a post yesterday saying - just back - paradise plaza hotel. have a look.
Sanur was so beautaful and not so full on as Kuta. From memory the Hyatt was along the beach front if I remember right. If correct, you are in a great sppot especially with your 7 year old. I just got back with a 3 and 7 year old boys and they loved it there.

I went to the beach area in sanur where for some reason and not sure if I was supposed to do - paaid 40 000 to use one daybed on the beach and got a 1 hour massage for a good old 50 000 which worked out to be $6.50 roughly AUD. Then my son got a small one for 20 000. He loved it. There are also some shpping stalls along the beach for shopping but it low key and no one comes upto you on the beach trying to sell too you - which annoyed me in Kuta.

There was a lovely resteraunt on the beach area which had live regaee music every tue and fri nights with lovely food. We actually ate mostly on the sanur beach front area at alot of different resteraunts and the prices were great. Roughly 50 000 - 70 000 a meal. Some as low as 30 000. So cheap and nice servings.

I found it very cheap compared to the hotel prices.

They even do hair braiding on the beach area too. I paid 100 000 and I have medium length hair to just below my shoulders. She tried saying 150 000 but i had had it done 1 week earlier as i was there for 11 days and I took them out and got them redone. So I said I paid 100 000 and I wouldnt go more than that. I reccomend her using the alfoil at the end of the platsinstaed of elastic as the elastic beaks your hair. Just a tip if you wanted to get hair done

I hope this helps and Im jelous. I want to go back and now............ but im saving for november.

Have a ball!!!
