Hello Candy

I would also suggest a few more restaurants to you. Beautiful one called SARONG. Decor is incredible. Out in similar area to Living room. Also Laloan is another where you can dress up a bit. A few restaurants in the Pettingett area that call for a bit more style. This area is about 10/15 minutes max from Seminyak. Also people can dress up even a little more for Laluciolla.

In terms of dressing style I would leave the fur and tiara at home and your highest Jimmy Choo shoes as it is just not necessary and yes I think it does look out of place and not comfortable for the climate and the shoes just dont negotiate the roads and footpaths wery well.

I too like step up the dress standards when we go to these type of restaurants so I take some of my dressy strappy summer going out type clothes and take a couple of pairs of my nice strappy gold and silver sandels that are flat. For eg I have a beautiful silk long summer dress that I wear with gold flats and I feel like a million dollars in it to wear to some of the nice restaurants but then it is still practical for Bali.Just hitch it up if you get a sudden bali down pour!!!
Have Fun. Toni
