Virgin prices from Adelaide on the rise

I have been checking the prices regularly waiting for sale fares but it seems that Virgin have instead increased the prices. Looking at any time late August to mid September, a couple of weeks ago they were around $1660 return for two, now $2021!! Has anyone else in SA come across any sale fares with Virgin for this time period?? Not so budget anymore :(
Dennis you may be right, starting to look cheaper to holiday in Oz if they keep up with those sort of prices
