at SBV last year for 2 months in the 2 bedroom villa with my 8 year old son. He loved the place. It is only small 5 rooms and 1 villa for rent but that is what we like.
The pool is good with a shallow section at one end that is divided off
from the deeper end. Ron is excellent with kids he kept Carter amused when he was swimming. And Carter was always asking him questions and generally making a nuisance of himself but Ron didnt seem to mind.
I suppose it depends on what you are looking for, the Peeneda is larger and you would probably have more chance of having other families there with small children but you could always check with Ron about his other bookings.
We prefer smaller places and carter has Balinese friends around his age so he didnt really lack for kids to play with when he wanted.
I would recommend SBV but as I said before it depends what you are wanting.
