We (Indonesian / Australian couple)were booked in to stay at the Vilarisi for 5 nights and ended up staying one....Where do i start...Check in at 2pm - got room at 7:30pm - after repeated lies from staffs and very little assistance. Were not offered another room an upgrade. Website talks about internet hotspot - no hotspot, no wireless, just cable from the wall in the restaurant for 1 computer that just didn't work....When we were leaving early, having paid for 1 night thankfully and in cash we were told by the desk clerk that he would need to check with the manager whether it was ok for us to leave...i suspect he wanted $$$$$.....Both of us have traveled extensively and have never been given such poor service/treatment/respect...To be fair some staff were helpful whilst others were rude and arrogant, refusing to deal with my partner in English (even thought they could speak it) but deal with me in Indonesian. The room we ended up in was nice....Plenty of nicer places to stay...
