..also, many of the locals are money changers from other locations. In Ubud, for example, the very best exchange rate was always to be gotten at Central Kuta PT, right next to Casa Luna. The further removed from this location, the worse the exchange rate. Very frequently they would have to close down by 10:a.m. after a 'run' by other money changers cleaned them out.
