Have just returned from what was the best Bali trip I have had so far, in a career spanning 25 odd years...Flew from Perth with Pacific Blue Which was nothing special and spent 5 nights at the Samaya in Seminyak which was amazing albeit spendy ....The Samaya is a peaceful oasis right on a nice clean part of Seminyak beach...amazing pool, villas, outstanding service, no drunken BB armed louts with Harden up T shirts...have to admit to almost having had lost my love of Bali, but this place rekindled my passion again... Spent most of our time in the hotel grounds, with quick side trips to Brisbane tailors and Jasewan shoemakers in Legian, and both places didn't disappoint again.....Seminyak was very very quiet , didn't visit Kuta so cant vouch for the tourist numbers there..
Ate at Chandis ( fantastic modern Indonesian fusion) La SAL ( great Spanish, but limited for vegetarians) Dahana Japanese ( very nice) and Sarong which is truly outstanding....not one bad meal....
Really enjoyed this quick luxurious break.......any questions would be glad to assist..if it wasn't for the Aussie peso would do it all again soon..
